[Having painted a card using magic paint, the one that Taako will find atop their gift-stowed in one of the cupboards of all places-seems to move, despite being so childishly drawn. As it is, there is a note on the back:]

The card says 'Crooked Cook', but he has a really straight hat...so I'm not really sure why he's called crooked. He doesn't seem crooked... It's a really cool cook though, which is why I think it's a good card for you!!

[OH... oh no Reira that's so cute??? WHAT A GOOD LITTLE FRIEND SHE IS. Taako is honestly overjoyed by this cookbook; it's got all kinds of wild stuff in it, and even though he isn't sure if he'll ever be able to round up some of these ingredients, it's a fascinating read.

The next time Reira sees Taako after this, he will definitely be wearing that shirt, and this cookbook is placed safely on a shelf in his room for now. Reira can also expect to find, in the place she'd left the gift, a wrapped bundle of cookies made using a recipe out of the book, along with a note that simply has her name in Taako's big, flowery script.]
